Need a Norbiton minicab? Norbiton is right next to Kingston town centre, and we take bookings for pick-ups across the area 24 hours a day, by phone on 020 3740 4439 or online.
Norbiton at a glance
Norbiton lies just east of Kingston town centre, along London Road and Cambridge Road. It has its own station on the line through Kingston, one stop from Kingston itself, and is mostly residential. Kingston Hospital, on Galsworthy Road, is on the Norbiton side of town, which means many of the journeys we arrange here are hospital trips.
Hospital journeys
Getting to and from a hospital appointment is not always easy, especially if you cannot drive afterwards or parking is hard to find. A pre-booked minicab drops you near the entrance you need and can collect you afterwards. Some tips:
- Tell us which department or entrance you need.
- If you do not know when you will finish, book the outward journey and call us when you are ready to go home.
- If you use a folding wheelchair or walking frame, mention it when you book.

Around Kingston town centre
Norbiton is close enough to walk into Kingston, but a short ride helps late at night, in bad weather or with heavy shopping from the Bentall Centre. Kingston's one-way system can make short trips feel longer than they look on the map, so allow a few extra minutes at busy times.
Longer trips
From Norbiton it is a straightforward run west over Kingston Bridge towards Heathrow, or out to the A3 for Gatwick and central London. Airport fares are fixed when you book. See our Heathrow taxi and Paddington station taxi pages for details.
Where we pick up
We cover Norbiton and the surrounding streets in KT1 and KT2, between the town centre, Kingston Hill and New Malden. For regular school journeys in the area, see our school run taxi page.
Kingston's one-way system
Although Norbiton is right next to the town centre, Kingston's one-way system means the shortest route on the map is not always the shortest drive. A trip from Norbiton to the riverside or to Kingston station can involve looping round the town centre. At busy times, such as Saturday afternoons and the run-up to Christmas, allow a few extra minutes for even a short journey.
Students and shared houses
Norbiton has many shared houses and student lets because it is close to the town centre and the university sites. At the start and end of term, students moving boxes and bags between halls, houses and stations can book a 6 seater taxi for extra room. For trains home, see our Euston and King's Cross pages.
Booking for someone else
Many Norbiton bookings are made by relatives, for example a son or daughter booking a parent's hospital visit. You can book for someone else: give us their name, the pick-up address and a mobile number for the passenger, and your own number in case we need to reach you.
