Who we are
Kingston Cars Minicabs is a booking service for minicab journeys in and around Kingston upon Thames. We are a Cab Facilitator, connecting the passengers with the licenced Minicab and Taxi service providers in the UK, with best interests of both parties.
In plain terms, that means two things. For passengers, we are the people you call or book with online. We take the details of your trip, confirm the booking and stay your point of contact. For drivers and operators, we pass on journeys that suit them. The journey itself is carried out by a licensed minicab or taxi service provider.
Where we are based
Our listed address is King's Rd, Kingston upon Thames KT2 5JH, on the north side of Kingston town centre, between the river and Kingston Hill. Most of the journeys we arrange start within a few miles of here: the town centre, Norbiton, Surbiton, Kingston Hill and across the river in Hampton Wick. How bookings work
You can book in two ways: the online booking form on most pages of this site, or by calling 020 3740 4439. Both are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and pre-bookings are taken at any time.
- You give us the details. Pick-up address, destination, date, time, number of passengers and luggage. For airports, add your flight details if you have them.
- You see the fare. Airport transfers are always quoted as a fixed price. For other journeys you will see the fare before you confirm.
- We confirm and pass it on. Your booking goes to a licensed provider who covers that journey.
- Your driver collects you. If your plans change, call us. We are the one number to ring before, during and after the trip.
How drivers and providers work
We do not ask you to trust a stranger. In London, anyone who carries passengers for private hire needs a licence from Transport for London (TfL), and so do the operators who take the bookings and the vehicles used. Journeys arranged through us are carried out by licensed minicab and taxi service providers. If you would like to know more about a booking, ask us when you call.

What you can book with us
Besides everyday local trips, we arrange:
- Fixed-price airport transfers to Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted, Luton and London City.
- Rides to and from the main London rail terminals, such as Waterloo and Paddington.
- Our five services: school runs, pet-friendly journeys, hotel transfers, and 6 or 7 seater cars for groups.
