A Euston station taxi from Kingston is the simplest way to catch a train to the Midlands, the North West or Scotland. From Kingston by rail, Euston means a change and an Underground ride across London. A minicab takes you straight there, which helps when you are carrying luggage or catching an early train.
Where you can go from Euston
Euston is the London terminus of the West Coast Main Line. Avanti West Coast runs fast trains to Birmingham, Manchester, Liverpool, North Wales and Glasgow, and London Northwestern Railway serves Milton Keynes, Northampton and Birmingham. The Caledonian Sleeper leaves Euston late in the evening for Scotland, which makes it a popular late-night drop-off.
The route and timings
Euston is roughly 14 miles from Kingston on the Euston Road, on the northern edge of central London. The route typically crosses the river and heads north through central or west London. Because there are several busy junctions on the way, timings vary more than for Victoria or Waterloo. Routes into central London can pass through the Congestion Charge zone, and all of Greater London is inside the Ultra Low Emission Zone. Ask us when you book how any road charges are handled for your journey.

HS2 works around the station
Euston has been surrounded by construction for the HS2 high-speed railway, and some roads and entrances around the station have changed. Allow a few extra minutes for the drop-off and the walk to the concourse, and check the station layout before you travel if you have heavy bags.
Catching the Caledonian Sleeper
The sleeper is a great way to reach Scotland, but it leaves late and arrives back early. Both ends of that trip are awkward times for public transport in Kingston. A pre-booked car takes you to Euston in the evening and can collect you when you arrive back in the morning. Book both journeys together and give us the train times.
Families and groups
If you are travelling to a family event up north, a 6 seater taxi takes up to six people and luggage to the station in one go. For a pet joining the trip, see our pet friendly taxi page.
