Booking safely in London

A London minicab must always be booked in advance through a licensed operator. Drivers are not allowed to pick up people who flag them down in the street. When your car arrives, check that it matches the booking before you get in. If you are ever unsure, call us.

All questions

Are you open 24 hours?

Yes. Our phones and online booking are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and pre-bookings are taken at any time.

How far ahead should I book?

For airport runs and early-morning trains, book as soon as your plans are fixed. For local trips, a few hours ahead is usually fine, and you can call for a car at short notice.

How do I know what my journey will cost?

You see the fare before you confirm. Airport transfers are always quoted at a fixed price when you book.

What happens if my flight or train is late?

Call 020 3740 4439 as soon as you know about a delay so the pick-up can be rearranged. Keep your booking reference to hand.

Can I add a stop on the way?

Yes, tell us when you book. An extra stop can change the fare, so it is best to include it at the start rather than asking the driver on the day.

Do you carry pets?

Pet-friendly journeys can be booked; tell us about your pet when you book. Assistance dogs are always carried. See our pet friendly taxi page.

Can you take six or seven people?

Yes. Book a 6 seater or 7 seater and tell us how many bags you have.

Who carries out my journey?

We are a cab facilitator. Your journey is carried out by a licensed minicab or taxi service provider.

Is a minicab the same as a black cab?

No. In London a black cab can be hailed in the street. A minicab (private hire vehicle) must be pre-booked through a licensed operator. Never get into a minicab that has not been booked.

How do I cancel?

Call us as early as possible. Our terms and conditions explain how cancellations work.

Do you cover Wimbledon and Esher?

Yes. We cover Kingston and the surrounding areas, including Wimbledon, Esher, Teddington and Chessington. See areas we cover.
